• Lead the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Accounting, Taxes and Cash Flow duties.
• Manage daily operations in accounts and finance department, including credit control, collection, reporting, tax, and treasury.
• Ensure the team adapt the established system process and procedures required to process all accounting transaction properly and ensure that all month-ended and yearly-ended closing are completed accurately and in timely manner.
• Liaise relevant external parties such as bankers, company secretary, auditors, and insurers.
• Contributing to the formulation of policies and strategy relating to financial matters.
• Managing and supervising the activities with a view to providing an efficient and effective TQM administration function within Mersing.

• Contributes to the development of policies and procedures for the optimum deployment of the professional human resources available.
• Developing and maintaining close working relationships on a proactive basis with each of the operating units within Mersing.
• Contributes to the development and implementation of procedures work instructions and other administrative systems for the efficient management of Mersing.
• Take on special projects as assigned.

Knowledge / Experience / Skills Required :

• Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, Professional Certificate, or other relevant accounting qualification.
• Minimum 8 years and above on their experience, with skills in construction accounting & procurement knowledge.
• Knowledge of all related Microsoft, Accounting Software is needed.
• Need to work independently, communication skills, teamwork, problem solving etc.
• Able to speak & write in multiple languages such as BM and English.

• Attend and adhere to HSE and Quality Control
• Plan, coordinate and direct resources.
• Attend site visits, meetings and coordinate with clients and sub-contractors
• Prepare submit project documents such as daily reports, method statements and works program on-time.
• Maintain and update site documentation such as attendance, DO, permits and etc.

Qualifications / Skills Required :

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)in construction field.
• Professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional will be an added advantage)
• Three or more years of experience in project coordination.
• Experience in coordinating teams and clients.
• Proven success in a corporate setting, working with all levels of management.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in MS Words, Excel and Project.
• Knowledge in AutoCAD is preferred.
• Require Mandarin speaker as the position need to communicate with teams and clients from Hong Kong, China.

• Compile and understand requirements for custom designs, modifications, enhancements and upgrading of trenchless machineries.
• Design and develop mechanical, hydraulic and electromechanical systems for the trenchless industry, considering factors such as performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct feasibility studies and analysis to evaluate the viability of new system designs and propose improvements to existing systems.
• Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for the manufacturing and assembly of mechanical components and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, manufacturing engineers, and field technicians, to ensure seamless integration and functionality of designs.
• Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and regulatory requirements related to trenchless technologies and apply them to design processes.
• Work closely with construction teams to develop construction methodologies for trenchless projects, providing technical input and guidance.
• Conduct testing and validation of prototypes or new designs to ensure they meet performance and safety requirements.
• Support the manufacturing process by providing guidance and clarification to the production team during the fabrication and assembly of designed systems.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source components, evaluate technical specifications, and ensure quality standards are met.

Knowledge / Experience / Skills Required

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is a must. Advanced degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in mechanical design.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc) for creating detailed engineering drawings and models.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and present technical information clearly and concisely.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality designs and documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work efficiently under deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with electromechanical systems and their integration into mechanical designs.
• Understanding of construction methodologies and techniques used in the trenchless industry (e.g., directional drilling, pipe bursting, microtunneling).
• Experience with structural analysis and simulation software is desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical challenges and propose innovative solutions.
• Reverse Engineering.

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for assisting in carrying out the daily task as set out by your supervisor.
• Manage respective department databases and input information, data, and records.
• Answer phone inquiries, direct calls, and provide basic company information; assist daily company mail
  deliveries, packages, and couriers.
• Maintain filing, and organize documents; photocopy, etc. as needed.
• Shadow multiple office positions and be trained in a variety of tasks.
