Pipe Ramming<\/span><\/h3>\n

Pipe ramming is an alternative trenchless technology to install steel pipes\u00a0underneath roads, highways, railways, hills and earth bund walls. This method\u00a0is most suitable for relatively straight gradient pipelines.<\/p>\n

The process involves the use of a pneumatic hammer that is attached to a\u00a0pipe casing end. The leading end of the pipe casing is left open and fabricated\u00a0with a casing shoe of a slightly bigger diameter than the casing to ensure an\u00a0over-cut. The pneumatic hammer is powered by an air compressor that\u00a0converts the air flow to a succession of percussive blows that drives the\u00a0casing into the ground. As the pipe casing is driven into the ground, its\u00a0internal annulus is filled with excavated material. The internal annulus of the\u00a0pipe casing is constantly cleared and cleaned off from the excavated material\u00a0as it advances along the intended crossing.<\/p>\n

Pipe Roofing<\/span><\/h3>\n

Pipe roofing is essentially lined pipes, forming into a roof matching the shape of the tunnel that is formed earlier, by tunnel excavation, and by installation of steel pipes. We have done several pipe roofing projects, particularly in 2002 highway Jacking, and 2009 \u2013 NKVE Tunnel at Jalan Persiaran Tropicana. Guided Auger Boring<\/span><\/h3>\n

We have 30 years of experience in the guided\u00a0Auger Boring method. It is one of the most\u00a0reliable methods for short crossings, which is\u00a0non steerable and it is an ideal method for\u00a0straight and accurate drives in various\u00a0ground conditions. Our capacity of drilling\u00a0ranges from 60 meter – 80 meter maximum,\u00a0300mm\u00d8.<\/p>\n

During installation, the pipe fully supports\u00a0the ground while the cut spoil is conveyed by\u00a0continuous flight auger back to the work pit.\u00a0A laser or theodolite guidance system steers\u00a0the asymmetrical head through the hollow\u00a0tubes.<\/p>\n

Once the pilot tube reaches the exit shaft, an\u00a0accurate line that has been established,\u00a0either the upsizing or pipe pull can begin.\u00a0Quite similar to pipe jacking, the Auger\u00a0Boring machine is pushed from the launch\u00a0shaft to the exit shaft.<\/p>\n
